We Practice Early Neurological Stimulation

The video “Creating Super Puppies—Early Neurological Stimulation” and its accompanying text (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G31N_gmUkE0) demonstrate and explain five specific exercises that we use to give our newborn Aussies a head start in life.

We also utilize other forms of neurological stimulation to help ensure that our Aussies are well socialized. For example, we fill an empty water bottle with pebbles and begin putting it in with the pups when they are 3 weeks old. They bump into it as they move around. Then, as they grow, they play with this homemade rattle, which has been teaching them not to fear noises.
